The Offset Pickup
The offset pickup pictured below is designed to rest with the pushlock fitting side against the bottom of a V compartment. These are ideal for the forward V compartment or alongside the keel on a wooden vessel. The plug and pushlock fittings can be exchanged in order to use the other side of the pad. These pickups can also be cut in half lengthwise producing two long and narrow pickups suitable for a keel sump. The heavy plastic version shown below measures 4 1/4" wide x 2 3/4" deep x 1 3/4" high. Duplicate pickups are provided with series 4 & 9 Systems.
