Bilge pickup types and specifications:
The Standard Pickup
The standard bilge pickup pictured below is designed to pull liquids from a flat bottom compartment. The filter pad on the lower side of the pickup acts like a sponge which will capture debris thousands of times before the pad is rendered useless or clogged. Floating grease is the only known cause of a clog, otherwise expect these pads to become cosmetically challenged only after three years, when they are swapped out for the spares provided. The heavy plastic version shown below measures 4 1/4" wide x 2 3/4" deep x 1 3/4" high. Available option to the standard pickup are the "mini" which measures 3" wide x 2" deep x 1 3/4" high. Duplicate pickups are provided with Series 4 & 9 Systems.
