Look familiar? Notice the bilge pump discharge hose which was painted black below the bilge water line by Sea Ray for cosmetic reasons. What is growing down there?
Here are the before and after pictures of the bilge under the Starboard engine. A third pickup was placed under the Port engine which is a near mirror image of this picture.

After two years of continuous service on both the Florida East Coast and in California with no maintenance performed, the Series 4 Arid Bilge System on board my Sea Ray has kept the bilges bone dry. I would recommend this system to anyone with wet bilges on their boat.

Sea Dream, the 35' Sea Ray Express Bridge, a real cream puff.
Arid Bilge Systems Series 4 three zone unit installed onboard Sea Dream, a 35' Sea Ray. The batteries were moved closer together and to Port. The blower was moved outboard. The unit is just 9 inches wide, two of the pickup tubes can be seen above the battery. The pickup tubes for Series 4 units are 3/16" in diameter and must be at least 20' long, but not longer than 70' in length. This unit was installed and was running in 6 hours.
